ENGLISH GRAMMAR || ASK QUESTION ||
ASK QUESTION is an important grammar topic for the school and college students in general.
It is a part of QUESTION PATTERN which is NEEDED in class IX English grammar under SEBA.
Also this topic is necessary for the H.S students (English grammar) under CBSE.
What does Ask Question mean ?
:: Ask Question means a question which begins with a Wh-Question word (such as- what, why, how,
when. where, whom etc). Such question is asked to address a person in order to get an answer.
POINTS TO RTEMEMBER ::
1) Read the sentence and guess which Wh-question is applicable.
2) Remember Wh-question is followed by an auxiliary verb; if such verb is available in the sentence
then put it after the wh-question. But auxiliary verb is not available then take help of
do,does (present tense) and did (past tense)

10) The weight of a cricket ball is 160 grams.
Ans: what is the weight of a cricket ball?
11) The book costs thirty rulees.

14) My friend gave me an apple.
